The artist behind Perspective Finishes
Welcome to the story of Perspective Finishes. Discover the journey from street art to unique abstract paintings, and learn about the inspiration and passion behind every piece. Each artwork is a reflection of a singular moment, designed to evoke personal interpretation and joy.

From street to canvas: The accidental beginning
My artistic journey began on the streets of Columbus, Ohio. The transition to abstract paintings on canvas was an accidental discovery during the clean-up process of street art. I used a solvent to clean the art from walls, which caused the colors to bleed and blend, creating drips and revealing a completely new form of expression. This unexpected outcome sparked my unique spray paint technique, transforming a cleaning process into an artistic method. Tired of the rigorous cleaning, I experimented with different mediums, initially using metal. However, these pieces proved difficult to transport for art shows and challenging to hang. This led me to canvas, where my vision truly found its permanent home.

Unique visions: What makes my art special
What makes these abstract paintings truly special is their individuality; no two pieces are alike. Each artwork offers a unique visual experience, allowing every viewer to see something different based on their perspective and current emotions. I hope my art evokes feelings of happiness and joy. There is no single "right" way to view or display these pieces; it's all in the viewer's interpretation. This style appeals to a wide audience because it invites personal engagement and encourages diverse perspectives, much like how people see the world differently.

A journey of connection and respect
My journey as an artist has taken my work across the United States, reaching California, Texas, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and all parts of Ohio. Along the way, I've had the privilege of meeting extraordinary people and earning the respect of fellow artists and future collectors. These experiences profoundly influence the art I create and how I view my own work. Every piece carries a story of connection, inspiring me to continue exploring new perspectives and sharing my unique vision with the world.
"See what you see, everyone sees the piece different. Just the same way as people see the world differently."
